Bulan Januari 2023, Bandara Ngurah Rai Catatkan 1,5 Juta Penumpang
Jbm.co.id-BADUNG | Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali tercatat mencapai 1.568.793 penumpang sepanjang bulan Januari tahun 2023. Hal tersebut menyebabkan sektor pariwisata di Pulau Bali kian membaik.
“Hal ini merupakan sentimen positif bagi dunia aviasi dan pariwisata, khususnya di Pulau Bali. Jumlah penumpang tersebut meningkat hingga 169% jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah penumpang di bulan Januari tahun 2022,” kata General Manager Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali, Handy Heryudhitiawan, Selasa, 7 Pebruari 2023.
Disebutkan, peningkatan jumlah penumpang tersebut dipengaruhi oleh dibukanya penerbangan internasional sejak bulan Maret tahun 2022 yang lalu. Pada bulan Januari 2023, Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali melayani 810.930 penumpang internasional.
Sementara, pada awal tahun 2023 ini, terdapat 383.288 penumpang internasional yang datang dan 427.624 penumpang internasional berangkat melalui Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali.
“Jumlah tersebut berpotensi bertambah seiring dengan rencana penambahan rute penerbangan internasional kedepannya,” kata Handy.
Sejauh ini, lanjutnya, penerbangan internasional dengan penumpang terbanyak masih didominasi rute Singapura dengan 168.744 penumpang. Dilanjutkan, Kuala Lumpur dengan 99.979 penumpang dan Melbourne dengan 73.258 penumpang.
“Namun, jika dilihat per negara, maka rute Australia menyumbang penumpang terbanyak dengan 271.667 penumpang yang dilayani oleh penerbangan dari dan ke 7 kota di Australia,” tambah Handy.
Warga Negara Asing (WNA) dari Australia menjadi warga negara yang paling banyak datang ke Pulau Bali di bulan Januari. Berdasarkan catatan Kantor Imigrasi Khusus Kelas I TPI Ngurah Rai, terdapat 99.075 WNA Australia datang melalui Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali di bulan Januari. Kemudian, dilanjutkan WNA Russia sebanyak 22.703 orang dan WNA India, yakni sebanyak 22.116 orang.
Penerbangan domestik di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali juga mengalami pertumbuhan. Pada bulan Januari, terdapat 757.863 penumpang, baik datang maupun berangkat di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali. Jumlah ini meningkat sebanyak 27 % dibandingkan dengan bulan Januari 2022.
“Sedangkan, untuk rute domestik penerbangan dari Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta menjadi penyumbang lalu lintas penumpang terbanyak dengan 328.939 penumpang. Dilanjutkan oleh Surabaya dengan 85.433 penumpang dan Ujung Pandang dengan 42.717 penumpang,” jelas Handy.
Kedepannya, Handy optimis capaian tahun 2023 akan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tahun 2022. Mengingat, saat ini Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali melayani rata-rata 45.811 penumpang per hari.
“Pada tahun 2023 ini, kami optimis akan melebihi capaian di tahun 2022. Dengan adanya penambahan rute Internasional baru serta pendaratan perdana pesawat Airbus A380 oleh Qatar Airways kami proyeksikan dapat menjadi pendorong bagi pertumbuhan lalu lintas udara di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali,” imbuhnya.
Untuk itu, pihaknya berharap, trend kenaikan jumlah pelaku perjalanan udara, baik domestik maupun internasional di Pulau Bali dapat terus dijaga oleh semua pihak.
“Didukung juga dengan situasi pandemi di Indonesia yang dapat ditangani dengan baik, sehingga reaktivasi penerbangan internasional ke rute-rute baru diharapkan dapat terealisasi di tahun ini,” tutupnya. (hms/red).
