Evi dipecat karena terbukti melanggar kode etik sebagai penyelenggara pemilu dalam Pileg DPRD Kalimantan Barat. “Kami akan pelajari dulu putusan tersebut,” kata Arief Budiman dalam pesan singkat, Kamis (19/3/2020).
Dalam proses persidangan, DKPP memutuskan Evi Ginting bersalah karena melakukan intervensi dalam proses penghitungan suara calon anggota legislatif dari Partai Gerindra Daerah Pemilihan Kalimantan Barat VI.
Evi didakwa bertanggung jawab atas perubahan perolehan suara yang menyebabkan penggelembungan suara bagi caleg Cok Hendri Ramapon dan merugikan caleg Hendri Makaluasc.
