Metro-Lampung, JBM CO.ID | Menanggapi antisipasi dan kesiagaan terhadap serangan virus Corona (Covid 19) di Provinsi Lampung, Andi Surya, mantan Anggota DPD RI dan Ketua Yayasan UMITRA sekaligus Calon Walikota Metro, menyatakan bahwa Gubernur Lampung telah mengeluarkan Surat Kesiapsiagan menghadapi invesi Corona tertanggal 16 Maret 2020 dengan kewaspadaan segenap elemen masyarakat Lampung.
“Di Kampus UMITRA, kami telah lakukan rapat khusus terhadap hal ini, terutama agar mahasiswa dan seluruh Civitas Akademika mampu meningkan kewaspadaan terhadap pandemi Corona ini”, Ujar Andi Surya.
“Bukan hanya civitas kampus tetapi segenap elemen dan warga masyarakat terutama di Kota Metro saya himbau agar sedini mungkin kewaspadaan ini ditingkatkan dan jangan anggap remeh pandemi Corona”, sambungnya.
Dilanjutkannya, yang penting adalah memahami seluruh himbauan pemerintah terkait prosedur dan tatacara menghalangi berkembangnya virus corona, “ayo, terapkan pola hidup sehat dan bersih, sering mencuci tanggan secara berkala dengan sabun yang dapat membunuh virus dan bakteri”, Sambung Andi Surya.
“Pada dua institusi pendidikan di bawah kendali saya yaitu Kampus UMITRA dan Sekolah GLOBAL SURYA sudah saya instruksikan hal ini, bahkan mahasiswa dan siswa selama 14 hari ke depan diliburkan dengan diberikan tugas khusus dari dosen dan guru, serta sebisanya mereka tidak banyak keluar rumah untuk menghindari keramaian agar meminimalisir infeksi corona”, tutup Andi Surya. /JBM
