Lampung, JBM.CO.ID | Gubernur Lampung Arinal Djunaidi diwakili Asisten Bidang Administrasi Umum, Minhairin membuka secara resmi lomba drum band Lampung Marching Competition 7 Open Tournament se-Sumbagsel, di Gedung Sumpah Pemuda, PKOR, Wayhalim, Sabtu (14/3/2020).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Minhairin menyampaikan pesan Gubernur Arinal agar para peserta dapat memupuk rasa persahabatan, kekeluargaan, kebersamaan, tanggung jawab dan sportivitas untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan kemampuan Marching Band khususnya se-Sumatera Bagian Selatan.
Menurut Minhairin, saat ini perkembangan Marching Band sangat signifikan, seiring dengan meningkatnya penyelenggaraan drumband sebagai salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler.
Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan kreativitas agar drum band dirasakan manfaatnya.
“Drumb band menumbuhkan kreatifitas bagi yang memainkannya sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa drumband dapat melatih kreatifitas anak dalam waktu yang relatif singkat,” kata Minhairin.
Pemprov Lampung, lanjut Minhairin, menyambut baik dan mengapresiasi dilaksanakannya lomba ini dan berharap perlombaan ini dapat menjadi ajang untuk berkreasi dalam memajukan talenta-talenta berbakat dalam memainkan berbagai alat musik, baris berbaris dan tari. /Adpim/jbm
