Jakarta, JBM.CO.ID | Presiden Joko Widodo meminta seluruh rakyat Indonesia tetap waspada sekaligus tenang dan beraktivitas seperti biasa menyikapi virus korona (Covid-19) di Indonesia.
Menurutnya, sebagian pasien korona di Wuhan, China, dan negara lain seperti Jepang, Iran, dan Italia berhasil pulih kembali.
“Saya juga berharap masyarakat tetap waspada, tetap tenang, beraktivitas seperti biasa,” kata Jokowi di Veranda Istana Merdeka, Selasa (3/3/2020).
“Gejala virus Covid-19 ini mirip flu. Faktanya sebagian pasien baik di RRT, Wuhan, kemudian di Jepang, Iran, dan Italia sudah hampir semuanya pasien dapat sembuh dan pulih,” terang Jokowi.
Dari dua orang pasien positif korona di Indonesia yang berdomisili di Depok, yang kini dirawat di RSPI Sulianto Saroso, Jakarta Utara.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa pemerintah telah melacak semua orang yang sempat berhubungan dengan kedua pasien tersebut.
Presiden juga meyakini virus korona di Indonesia bisa ditangani.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Presiden mengajak segenap masyarakat untuk mendoakan pasien yang terkena virus korona.
“Dan saya mengajak marilah kita berdoa, saudara kita bisa pulih kembali,” ajak Jokowi. /JBM
