Bandar Lampung, JBM.CO.ID | Melihat fenomena krisis karakter pada anak di kota-kota besar termasuk Bandar Lampung, Calon Walikota dari jalur perseorangan atau Independen, Ike Edwin memiliki progam pendidikan yang nyata, yaitu pendidikan karakter sejak dini.
Ia akan membangun sekolah untuk anak dibawah usia dini atau di bawah 5 tahun, yang terfokus mengajarkan akhlak, etika dan moral.
“orang tua yang bekerja nanti bisa mensekolahkan anaknya di sana, jadi tidak perlu khawatir, mereka akan diajarkan hal-hal sederhana yang menjadi pondasi karakter anak kedepannya” ungkap Ike Edwin di Lamban Kuning, Senin (24/2).
Menurutnya, pendidikan karakter adalah sebagai penentu awal untuk menciptakan generasi baru.
“pengajarannya sederhana saja, mengambil milik orang lain itu tidak benar, cara makan dan minum yang baik. jika sudah punya itu dari awal, tidak akan ada pemimpin yang korupsi, tidak akan ada maling” tandasnya.
Dengan progam tersebut ia berharap bisa mengubah pola pikir masyarakat untuk lebih maju. Selain itu, ia juga mempunyai progam pendidikan bagi calon profesor. /JBM
