Jakarta, JBM.CO.ID | Kepala Badan Reserse Kriminal Polri, Komisaris Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo meminta jajarannya untuk tidak segan dalam menindak para pelaku maupun bandar Narkoba.
Terlebih, lanjutnya, peredaran yang dilakukan di dalam lembaga permasyarakatan (Lapas). Dia meminta jajarannya untuk mengawasi dan menindak siapapun yang terlibat.
“Saya minta seluruh jajaran untuk tindak tegas para pelaku dan bandar. Termasuk di Lapas. Siapa yang telibat tindak,” katanya, di Gedung Mabes Polri, Rabu (26/2/2020).
Listyo mengatakan hal itu dikarenakan saat ini Indonesia sedang dalam darurat Narkoba. Predaran tantangan untuk membentuk Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) unggul tidak akan tercapai, jika predaran Narkoba masih sedemikian besar.
Terlebih, kata Listyo, hal tersebut tertuang dalam Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) Nomor 6 Tahun 2018 tentang Rencana Aksi Nasional Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika dan Prekursor Narkotika Tahun 2018-2019.
“Karena saat ini Indonesia sudah darurat Narkoba. Tantangan membentuk SDM unggul tidak bisa tercapai kalau Narkobamasih demikian besar,” tuturnya.
“Ini tugas kita bersama menghadapi Indonesia 2045. Yang kita harapkan bisa masuk No. 4 peringkat pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tidak akan berhasil kalau tidak bisa memerangi Narkoba,” sambungnya.
Mantan Kapolda Banten itu menyebut dalam kurun tiga bulan terakhir, sejak Desember hinga Februari 2020 pihak kepolisan berhasil menggagalkan penyelundupan narkotika sebanyak 1,2 ton.
Rinciannya, narkotika jenis sabu-sabu seberat 830,5 kilogram, 200 ribu butir ekstasi. Kemudian, sebanyak 2,17 kilogram heroin, dan 8,91 kilogram tembakau gorila.
“Sebanyak 1,2 ton Narkoba itu, merupakan hasil tangkapan dari Bareskrim Polri dan Polda Metro Jaya. Lalu, berkat kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak seperti Bea Cukai,” kata Listyo.
Terkait maraknya peredaran narkotika ini, Listyo meminta kepada seluruh jajaran Bareskrim dan Polda untuk terus meningkatkan pemberantasan dan pencegahan Narkoba di Indonesia. Termasuk mencegah masuknya barang haram itu dari luar negeri. /JBM
