Metro, JBM.CO.ID | DR. H. Andi Surya, Bacalon Walikota Metro, menghadiri undangan silaturahim PEPABRI, PERIP dan Warakawuri di Jantor Cabang PEPABRI Metro Pusat, (10/02/2020).
Ketua PEPABRI Cabang Metro, Sujadi, menyatakan dalam sambutannya bahwa Andi Surya adalah Anak Purnawirawan TNI-AD, saat ini dia adalah Ketua Himpunan Pengusaha dan Wiraswasta Indonesia (HIPWI) FKPPI Lampung maka dia adalah anak kita, “Dengan demikian niat beliau maju sebagai Walikota Metro wajib kita dukung, dengan harapan Metro akan lebih maju dan berkembang serta tidak melupakan orangtua yang telah berjuang mewujudkan NKRI”, Ujar Ketua Pepabri Metro.
Ketua PERIP Cabang Metro, Dra. Syufni Haita, MM., yang juga hadir dalam pertemuan silaturahim tersebut menuturkan, bahwa sebagai anak tentara yang juga anak kita, Andi Surya memiliki potensi untuk memajukan Kota Metro, “Beliau sudah banyak pengalaman, pernah menjadi orang parlemen selama 15 tahun baik di daerah maupun pusat, serta memiliki kualitas akademik tingkat Doktoral yang sangat mumpuni sebagai seorang akademisi dan politisi, maka latar belakangnya komplit untuk kita dukung sebagai Walikota Metro 2021-2026 mendatang”, Ujar Haita.
Dr. H. Andi Surya yang juga ditemani oleh istri, Dr. Ir. Hj. Armalia Reny Madrie, AS, menyatakan terimakasih atas segala doa dan dukungan PEPABRI, PERIP dan Warakawuri kepadanya dalam rencana ikut kontestasi Pilwalkot Metro mendatang.
“PRPABRI, PERIP dan Warakawuri adalah orang-tua kita yang telah mewujudkan Indonesia sebagai NKRI, beliau semua ini adalah pejuang yang harus dihormati, yang hingga saat ini konsisten dalam menjaga keutuhan NKRI”, Sebut Andi Surya.
“Oleh karenanya, saya selaku anak, akan terus berjuang mewujudkan cita-cita orang tua, yaitu membangun Metro Baru menuju perubahan, mohon doa dari para sesepuh PEPABRI, PERIP dan Warakawuri”, Ujar Andi Surya.
Acara silaturahim tersebut ditutup dengan doa yang memohon kepada Allah agar pelaksanaan Pilkada Metro berjalan lancar dan dimudahkan. /
