Kalimantan Selatan, JBM.CO.ID | Usai melakukan kunjungan kerja di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Presiden Joko Widodo pada hari ini, Sabtu, 8 Februari 2020, bertolak menuju Canberra, Australia, guna melakukan kunjungan kenegaraan.
Dengan menggunakan Pesawat Kepresidenan Indonesia-1, Presiden dan rombongan lepas landas dari Bandara Internasional Syamsudin Noor, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan sekitar pukul 11.30 WITA.
Kepala Sekretariat Presiden Heru Budi Hartono yang turut serta dalam rombongan mengatakan bahwa selama di Canberra Presiden akan melakukan dua kegiatan utama, yaitu kunjungan kenegaraan dan menghadiri Annual Leaders Meeting (ALM) yang terakhir dilaksanakan di Bogor pada 31 Agustus 2018.
Kunjungan Presiden ke Australia ini memiliki arti penting, ucap Heru, antara lain untuk implementasi _Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement_ (IA-CEPA) untuk meningkatkan akses pasar Australia dan investasi Australia di Indonesia.
“Selain itu juga, Presiden Jokowi akan menyampaikan visi kemitraan Indonesia-Australia dalam 30 tahun ke depan di Parlemen Australia dan memperkokoh dukungan Australia terhadap NKRI,” kata Heru.
Lebih lanjut, Heru mengatakan bahwa kunjungan ini juga untuk memperkuat kerjasama pembangunan di kawasan Indo-Pasifik dan Pasifik Selatan dan menunjukkan solidaritas atas kebakaran lahan di Australia.
Presiden akan langsung kembali ke Indonesia pada Senin, 10 Februari 2020 dan tiba kembali di Jakarta pada malam harinya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam penerbangan menuju Australia antara lain, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum, dan Keamanan Mahfud Md., Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Moeldoko, Kepala Sekretariat Presiden Heru Budi Hartono, dan Sekretaris Militer Presiden Mayjen TNI Suharyanto.
Selain itu turut pula Kepala Protokol Negara Andri Hadi, Komandan Paspampres Mayjen TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, Deputi Bidang Protokol, Pers, dan Media Sekretariat Presiden Bey Machmudin, dan Koordinator Staf Khusus Ari Dwipayana.
Sementara itu, Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi telah berada di Canberra guna mempersiapkan kunjungan Presiden. /Jbm
