Bandar Lampung, JBM.CO.ID | Bakal Walikota Bandar Lampung, Rycko Menoza SZP mengatakan salah satu programnya adalah penataan keberadaan toko-toko waralaba untuk mempertahankan keberadaan-usaha usaha kecil masyarakat Kota Bandar Lampung.
“Bukan membatasi, tetapi menata keberadaan toko waralaba. Ini perlu dilakukan agar tidak mematikan usaha kecil masyarakat,” kata Rycko Menoza, di Bandar Lampung, Rabu (29/01/2020).
Penataan ini, kata dia, dapat dilakukan dengan mengkaji keberadaan atau lokasinya sebelum pemerintah menerbitkan izin pendirian toko-toko modern yang semakin menjamur ini.
Menurut Rycko, pemerintah harus hadir untuk membela masyarakat kecil agar tetap mampu bertahan di tengah persaingan dunia usaha yang semakin ketat seiring dengan banyaknya pasar-pasar modern.
Pasar-pasar tradisional ini, kata Rycko, tetap diperhatikan sebagai ciri masyarakat dan bagaimana cara berdagang agar tidak meninggalkan keaslian (genuine) kita. Toko waralaba cenderung lebih mahal dibanding warung-warung masyarakat.
Tidak hanya itu, kata Rycko, pasar-pasar tradisional akan dibina dan dikembangkan kembali sebagai salah satu upaya mempertahan kearifan lokal di kota ini.
“Pasar-pasar tradisional, perlu ditata agar lebih rapih, nyaman dengan sirkulasi udara yang baik, tempat parkir nyaman dan bebas kemacetan,” kata Rycko
Ia mencontohkan, misalnya di bagian dalam kios-kios dipasang pendingin udara agar tidak panas dan pengap sehingga pedagang dan pembeli nyaman berada di pasar tradisional tersebut.
“Jika memiliki pasar tradisional yang bersih, aman dan nyaman tentunya pengunjung pasar akan semakin ramai, yang berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan mereka,” tambah putra mantan Gubernur Lampung Sjachroedin ZP ini.
Sementara itu, Rycko Menoza menyampaikan program ini saat bertemu dan berdialog, menyerap aspirasi puluhan ibu-ibu di Kecamatan Kemiling, Kota Bandar Lampung.
Para ibu-ibu tersebut menyampaikan aspirasinya karena sebagai pelaku usaha kecil dan para perajin batik Lampung itu mengaku kurang diperhatikam oleh pemerintah.
Mereka menyampaikan sulitnya mendapatkan akses permodalan dan upaya promosi untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk kerajinan mereka. /JBM
