Jakarta, JBM.CO.ID—Plt Juru Bicara KPK, Ali Fikri membenarkan jika ada sejumlah kasus yang akan dihentikan pengusutannya.
“Ada beberapa perkara yang itu sisa perkara tahun sebelumnya. Kita mengumpulkan kemudian kita membaca ulang, analisis lebih jauh terkait sekian perkara yang memang tidak ditemukan bukti permulaan yang cukup sehingga ada kepastian penyelidikan perkara itu dihentikan,” kata Ali di Gedung Merah Putih, Jakarta, Senin (27/01/2020).
Fikri membantah jika penghentian kasus tersebut karena hasil revisi UU KPK yang baru.
“Karena ini perkara kan penyelidikan. Sejak UU belum diubah untuk penyelidikan oleh KPK memang bisa dihentikan. Kecuali penyidikan. Kalau saat ini UU No 19 Tahun 2019 memang ada peluang untuk bisa dihentikan dengan syarat tertentu,” jelas Ali.
Ali menambahkan, penghentian sebuah kasus bertujuan memberi kepastian. Harapannya, agar seorang yang masuk ke ranah penyelidikan KPK mendapat status yang jelas bila tersangkut masalah rasuah.
“Jadi untuk beri kepastian terkait perkara lama merupakan sisa tunggakan perkara lama. Perkaranya apa saja nanti kita sampaikan saat ini belum ada,” ujarnya. (JBM)
