Jakarta, JBM.CO.ID—Presiden Joko Widodo mengatakan bahwa gagalnya Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) yang akan melakukan penggeledahan di kantor DPP PDIP bukan bagian dari pelemahan KPK.
Pasalnya kata Presiden Jokowi, KPK masih bisa melakukan Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT).
”Buktinya saya sudah sampaikan, yakni KPK melakukan OTT ke bupati dan KPU, meskipun komisonernya masih baru dewasnya masih baru,” ujar Presiden Jokowi di Kompleks Istana Kepresidan, Jakarta, Jumat (17/01/2020).
Kendati demikian kata dia, perlu dibuat sejumlah aturan bisa berkesinambungan dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2019 tentang KPK.
“Saya kira memang di KPK masih banyak aturan-aturan yang harus dibuat dan diperbaharui, dan saya tidak mau berkomentar banyak nanti dianggap melakukan intervensi,” katanya.
Sekadar informasi, Peneliti Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), Kurnia Ramadhana mengatakan, KPK telah diperlemah. Sehingga UU Nomor19/2019 tentang KPK tidak terbukti memperkuat lembaga antirasuah.
Kurnia mengatakan, pelemahan KPK itu terlihat dari lambatnya tim KPK dalam menggeledah Kantor DPP PDIP karena membutuhkan izin dari Dewan Pengawas KPK.
“Padahal dalam UU KPK lama (UU No 30 Tahun 2002) untuk melakukan penggeledahan yang sifatnya mendesak tidak dibutuhkan izin terlebih dahulu dari pihak mana pun,” ujar Kurnia.
Menurut Kurnia, tindakan penggeledahan yang bertujuan untuk mencari dan menemukan bukti. Sehingga pengledahan saat ini tidak cepat seperti dahulu. Karena harus menunggu izin dari Dewan Pengawas KPK. (Jbm)
