JBM.CO.ID––Indonesia perlu banyak tenaga insinyur untuk membangun. Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) adalah perguruan tinggi negeri yang mendidik tenaga insinyur. Pusat pendidikan tinggi teknik tertua di Indonesia.Dimulai sejak tahun 1920 pada masa pemerintahan Hindia Belanda. Presiden RI pertama, Ir. Sukarno, adalah lulusan ITB.
Setiap tahun putra-putri terbaik bangsa masuk ITB. Mengikuti perkuliahan dan praktikum yang diselenggarakan oleh para dosen dan dibantu asisten. Kurikulum ITB terdiri 75 persen teori yang disampaikan di kelas dan 25 persen praktikum yang dilakukan di laboratorium.
Tokoh nasional setelah Sukarno, misalnya B.J. Habibie, Hatta Rajasa dan Aburizal Bakrie adalah juga alumni ITB. Indonesia butuh pemimpin seperti Sukarno. ITB mencetak kader-kader pemimpin bangsa di masa depan.Sampai sekarang banyak orang tua mahasiswa/i yang mempercayakan nasib putra-putri mereka di kampus cap gajah ini.
ITB selalu marak dengan kegiatan-kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Mulai dari kegiatan olah raga, kesenian serta keagamaan mendapat porsi yang cukup. Untuk membina mahasiswa/i agar seimbang mental dan fisik, jasmaniah dan rohaniah. In Harmonia Progresio. Keserasian dalam perkembangan. Itulah motto ITB.
