“Ratusan botol miras (minuman keras) ini hasil sitaan 5 polsek yang ada di Mesuji Lampung ” kata Kapolres Mesuji Lampung AKBP Alim, di sela pemusnahan minuman keras di Mapolres Mesuji Lampung
Ia mengatakan, pemusnahan minuman keras yang disaksikan perwakilan Pemkab Mesuji tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh agama itu juga dilakukan dalam menyambut Natal dan tahun baru.
“Selama natal dan tahun baru nanti, kami akan terus melakukan razia,” kata dia.
Menurut Kapolres, sanksi penjual minuman keras untuk saat ini hanya pembinaan, sebab mereka yang diketahui penjual minuman keras hanya pedagang-pedagang kecil.
Pihak kepolisian belum menemukan adanya perusahaan yang memproduksi minuman keras di wilayah Mesuji Lampung. (Rls)
