Lampung Masuk Pilot Project BTS, Gubernur Arinal Dan Dirjen Hubdar Tandatangani Mou
Jakarta, JBM.CO.ID-–Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Darat (Dirjen Hubdar) Kementerian Perhubungan, Budi Setiyadi melakukan Penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman (MoU) Perencanaan Pembangunan dan Pengoperasian Angkutan Umum Perkotaan, di Hotel Aryaduta, Jakarta, Jumat (6/12/2019).
Hadir seluruh pemangku kepentingan terutama Kepala Daerah yang akan menjadi proyek percontohan BTS di tahun 2020 mendatang, termasuk Gubernur Lampung Ir. H. Arinal Djunaidi.
Dirjen Hubdar mendorong masyarakat untuk menggunakan angkutan massal seperti Bus Rapid Transit atau BRT. Pemerintah melalui Ditjen Hubdar memberian BRT ke Pemerintah Daerah dan yang terbaru dengan Skema Pembelian Layanan Buy The Service (BTS).
Dirjen Hubdar Budi menandangani nota kesepahaman mengenai 5 Kota Percontohan untuk Program Buy The Service dengan Pemerintah Kota Medan, Palembang, Surakarta, DI. Yogyakarta dan Denpasar serta 4 Pemerintah Daerah penerima bus bantuan BRT yaitu Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Provinsi Lampung, Kota Pekanbaru dan Kota Palembang.
“Kalau Pemerintah tidak intervensi terhadap angkutan massalnya, dapat terjadi kenaikan suhu (udara) dari yang sekarang kita rasakan. Ada indikasi bahwa polusi udara disumbang oleh kendaraan bermotor. Dengan demikian kita akan usahakan untuk perubahan di masyarakat agar tidak menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, namun memakai angkutan massal,” jelas Dirjen Budi.
Anggaran Rp250 Miliar
Program BTS ini kata Dirjen, pertama kali pilot project kita, kami mohon pada Gubernur dan Walikota yang pertama kali menerima program ini untuk melaksanakan dengan sungguh penyelenggaraan angkutan perkotaan.
“Kami sedang menyiapkan anggaran Rp250 miliar, mudah-mudahan tahun berikutnya bisa kita tambah. Kami sangat mengharapkan kerja sama Pimpinan Daerah yang menerima program BTS ini, kalau 2020 berhasil, nanti 2021 akan kami lakukan kembali,” kata Dirjen Hubdar Budi lagi.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Lampung Arinal Djunaidi mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Menteri Perhubungan RI Budi Karya Sumadi yang telah banyak membantu kemajuan transportasi di Lampung.
“Melalui kesempatan ini saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Bapak Menteri Perhubungan yang telah banyak menorehkan sejarah kemajuan transportasi di Lampung,” kata Arinal. (Jbm/hms)
